Everyone loves the pigeonniers in SW France
Sooner or later our guests ask to paint a pigeonnier. Here are some of them hard at work en plein air.
(I’ll provide some information on these amazing structures in a later posting, but as a teaser, at this point I'll tell you that before
the French Revolution in 1789, only the King, the nobles and the clergy were permitted to own them).
