MORE SEPTEMBER DAYS IN GASCONY WITH NOTHING TO DO BUT THINK ABOUT OUR NEXT MEAL

THIS IS LATOUR-MARLIAC

The founder, that's his name above, exhibited his water lilies at the Paris exhibition in 1889 where
they caught the eye of Monet who soon started building his jardin d'eau at Giverny.

Here we are doing the tour of the cultivation pools.

If you look carefully between all the foliage,
you'll just see some of us on the look-alike Monet bridge.

Time for lunch again, and here we are eating and overlooking the river at Lavardac.

Touring the wine tasting co op at Buzet. The guy told us that a bottle of Buzet is opened somewhere in the world every three seconds. (We proved him right later in the day).

There are always two important things to do in Condom. Here's one:

Have your photo taken with the Three Musketeers and their mate d'Artagnan - and,
probably more importantly:
Have your pic taken with a dirty roadsign.

Watch this space for more pics.
